The Career Equity Resource Center (CERC) is funded by the New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Career and Technical Education. CERC is housed in the Education & Career Development, Research & Programs unit at Center for Women and Work, a division of the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University.
CERC is designed to provide resources and implement strategies to schools and school districts that will increase access and success in high-skill, high-wage, high-demand occupations for non-traditional, special populations and/or historically marginalized students. The Center staff provides training, professional development, technical assistance and evaluation activities to local education agencies. The CERC website includes wealth of resources and information on promoting issues pertaining to equity in Career and Technical Education. Resources on the CERC website can be utilized by workforce development agencies, educational institutions, students, parents and job-seekers.
